12716540_1682240642064553_1043340054_nAs many of you know building custom pc gaming systems is a passion of mine and our whole team here at Smart PC Gaming.  I recently posted a few pictures on Instagram of my own personal custom build.  A lot of our users liked it and wanted to know what parts I used.  I wanted to make a system that was future proof and that I was able to upgrade over time, especially when the new Nvidia PASCAL GPUs come out.  To achieve this I went with a full case.  I know that in the future I will be looking to add a second GPU in SLI so I wanted to have enough room to allow me to do that.  I also wanted to keep a color scheme of red and black and wanted to have a very clean look to the case, that’s why I went with a case that has no disc drives.  Disc drives are rarely ever used now a days and I decided to purchase a usb 3.0 cd – rom drive just in case I needed to install component drivers from a cd that shipped with the components. The GPU that I decided on is able to play most games at 4k on ultra but the fps would drop around 45 – 50, so i decided instead to go with a 1440P monitor with 144hz refresh rate.  The monitor also has G-Sync technology which means that even if the FPS drop below 60 fps, I wont notice because G Sync technology refreshes according to your gpu and not your computer  So without further ado here is the list of my own personal gaming system.
